The Toronto Maple Leafs are a professional hockey club in the National Hockey League. They are based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and play out of the Air Canada Centre, but originally played within Maple Leaf Gardens. The Maple Leafs play within the Northeast Division of the NHL's Eastern Conference.

The Maple Leafs are a member of the "Original Six", which are the six NHL teams that have existed since the NHL's inception. The Maple Leafs are well known for their bitter rivalries with the Montreal Canadiens and Detroit Red Wings, and more recently the Ottawa Senators. The Maple Leafs have the won the Stanley Cup championship, as the NHL's league champion, a total of 13 times, with the last victory coming in 1967.
